Huge U.S. Flag Returns to PA In 1994, the Somerset Flag Committee put up a 120-foot flagpole at 215 Ramada Road in Somerset, PA. Over the years, the weather took its toll on the flag, which frayed and faded. The flag’s Committee disintegrated too. As of June 13, 2009, no flag had flown on the site for almost two years. That all changed this Flag Day, June 14, 2009, when the rejuvenated Somerset Flag Committee raised a new flag at the site. More>
