Asociacion Tepeyac de New York

Provides a variety of needed services to the 9/11-related client population,  
including: helping them navigate and interact with government agencies  
and providing referrals to pro-bono  attorneys; and ensuring that they  
acquire the life-skills needed to manage their finances. Individual counseling

Provides mental health services to Asian American victims of 9/11, and

Institute for the Puerto Rican/ Hispanic Elderly, Inc.
Program provides psycho-educational support groups to Spanish speaking 
persons 55 years of age and older who were impacted by 9/11. Includes 
learning relaxation techniques and the implementation of a “Wellness Plan.”    

Provides outreach and education; individual and group counseling; retreats 
for victims and their families; job training and placement; and assistance 
with applying for entitlements to Korean American victims and emotionally 
and economically affected populations.

New York Disaster Counseling Coalition, Inc.
Runs a series of Renewing Relationship workshops offering couples the 
opportunityto reconnect with each other through psycho-educational 
resiliency training, problemsolving and negotiating training, and 
developing listening skills; and referrals for counseling services.

Saint Vincent's Catholic Medical Center of New York
Supports the primary adult programs of the WTC Trauma Healing Center of 
SVCMC including mental health / trauma services and the Integrative Stress 
Management program. Services are offered at several locations including

The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families, Inc.

Hispanic Federation
There are a number of community-based organizations in the area that 
are helping 9/11 victims free of charge to help cope with their losses and 
problems through a combination of financial assistance and direct services.

The Rockland Assistance Center

The Rockland Assistance Center is a resource which provides comfort and 
assistance to Rockland County residents affected by 9/11. Its free services 
include on-site counseling and support groups, distribution of educational 
materials and information, and speakers.
