Captain Jason Dahl Outdoor Family Fundraiser
Saturday, May 1, 2010, 11:00am- 4:00pm

There will be the annual dove race too*
The Captain Jason Dahl Scholarship Fund  will hold a family-friendly outdoor 
event on Saturday, May 1, 2010. There will  be live music, a BBQ, crafts, 
silent auction etc.
       
The fund in his name helps young aviators achieve their dreams. The two 
2010 scholarship recipients will also be announced at the event.  Each winner  
will receive a $5,000 scholarship.
Captain Jason Dahl was the pilot of United  Flight 93. His courage is 
remembered.

Bike for Tuesday’s Children in the 33rd Annual Five-Borough Bike Tour
Sunday, May 2, 2010

Tuesday's  Children has secured a few spots on the 33rd annual Five-Borough  
Bike Tour, a traffic-free, 42-mile ride through all the boroughs of New York City.  
Participants  would be asked to raise at least $1,000 for Tuesday’s Children. 
You can also  ride for Tuesday’s Children if you have a spot on the bike tour 
on your own.
The  tour begins at Battery Park in Manhattan and  ends with a festival on 
Staten Island.

Sixth Annual John and  Sylvia Resta Memorial Golf Outing
Friday May 7, 2010
8:00am registration & breakfast; 9:00am  shotgun start
Colts Neck, NJ
Remember John, Sylvia and unborn baby Resta, who  were at Carr Futures 
in the World Trade Center  on September 11, 2001. The golf outing in their 
name will be held on Friday,  May 7, 2010 at the Pebble Creek Golf Club in 
Colts Neck, NJ.
Breakfast and registration begin at 8:00am. The  shotgun start is at 9:00am 
sharp. The format will be best ball. A BBQ lunch  follows the golf. 
The fee is $125.00 per golfer. Sponsorships are  still available: $150.00 for 
a corporate tee box sponsorship; $125.00 for  family and friends sponsorships.

The John and Sylvia Resta Memorial Fund financially  assists needy students 
from John’s alma mater, Saint John Vianney   High School.

Ninth Annual Joseph R.  Riverso Memorial Golf Outing

Joe Riverso was an avid golfer who enjoyed golfing with his friends and working  
as an appreciated bond trader at Cantor Fitzgerald. Proceeds from the golf  
outing in his name fund scholarships to athletes who incorporate his ideals in  
their lives. This year’s outing will be held at the Canyon Club in Armonk.

Fifth Annual  Brooke Jackman Run for Literacy
Saturday, May 15, 2010

The  Fifth Annual Brooke Jackman Run for Literacy, a 5-K run/walk race will 
be held  on Saturday, May 15, 2010. 
This year’s 5-K race will be followed by a day of outdoor activities, including 
rock climbing, live entertainment and rescue demonstrations - all part of the 
Oyster  Bay Health & Fitness Fair. 
There will be prizes for winners of all ages. Participants will receive a  
commemorative T-shirt and water bottle.

Lt. Chuck Margiotta Biker Run Memorial

Staten Island, NY 
On Sunday, May 23, 2010, the Lt. Chuck Margiotta Brains, Brawn & Bravery 
Biker Run will  be held rain or shine at Monsignor Farrell H.S.  in  Staten  Island.   
Registration will begin at 10:00am. The Ride begins at 12:00 noon. 
The  entry fee of $20.00 includes the Ride, music, food, and refreshments.  
Non-riders and friends of Chuck are encouraged to come too. 
All  proceeds go toward the Chuck Margiotta Memorial Scholarship Fund for 
incoming freshmen at Monsignor Farrell High School.
