9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Eighth Annual James D. McNaughton Benefit

The 8th annual benefit to honour Staff Sgt. James D. McNaughton will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 1:00pm–8:00pm at Mulcahy’s Pub in Wantagh.

There will be food, drink specials, live music from the Nerds, giveaways and raffles, all to benefit the James McNaughton Foundation and help wounded warriors and those devastated by Hurricane Sandy. Admission is $20.00.

James “Jimmy” McNaughton, 27, was the first NYPD officer to give his life for his country while serving as a soldier in Iraq. He was shot by a sniper on August 2, 2005.
